Flower macrame braclet

Materials

1.   Waxed cord size 1.0mm. 
  • Violet color  2 cord, 120 cm. each( total 240 cm.)
  • Khaki color  4 cord, 180-200. cm each depend on your workpiece length ( total around 800 cm.)
2.  1 Bead or button for making a closure, I choose brass bell, size 8 mm.

Instructions

There are 3 part to make this pendant, 
1. Bracelet holder

2. Flower pattern

3. Bracelet button closure

1. Bracelet holder

  • Fold first Violet cord to the half and  tying larks head knot  at the middle point of second Violet


  •  Continue tying larks head knot until it can hold your button/closure.


  •  Then tying 1 square knot(with 2 fillers) to make it a circle holder.

2. Flower pattern


2.1  Work on left side first,
Fold the 200cm. working cord (Khaki color) into the half, at the mid point, knot Larks head to the left holding cord (Violet color) as in the picture, tighten the knot firmly. You will get 1 of double(horizontal) half hitch knot and 2 of 100 cm. Khaki cord.
Then Knot left and right Khaki cord as in the picture, Now you will get 2 double half hitch knots and 2 Khaki cords.



 2.2  Knot another Khaki cord  same method as 2.1, then you will get 4 cords on the left side around Violet cord.

2.3  Do the same method on the right Violet cord.  Now there are 8 Khaki cords on your work, 4 cords on the left and 4 cords on the right.


2.4  Work on the left side, bring 1 Violet in the middle of workpiece to the left, we will use it as a holding cord,
There will be 3 working cords(Khaki) now, knot the double half hitch to the left from 1-3 cord. 
2.5   Work on the right side, same method.



2.6  There are 8 Khaki cords at the middle, use them tying  1 square knot(with 6 fillers).


2.7 Work on the left side, bring 1 violet to the right, we will use it as a holding cord,
There will be 3 working cords(Khaki), knot the double half hitch to the left from 1-3 cord. 
Then work on the right side, same method.


2.8 Work on the left side, bring 1 leftest violet to the right, we will use it as a holding cord,
There will be 4 working cords(Khaki), knot the double half hitch to the left from 1-4 cord. 
Then work on the right side, same method.


 2.9  There are 4 Violet cords at the middle, use them tying  1 square knot(with 2 fillers).




2.10 Work on the Left side,  There will be 4 Khaki cords , bring the rightest Khaiki cord to the left and use it as holding cord, knot the double half hitch to the left from 1-3 cord. Then bring the holding cord to the right, and continuing knot the double half hitch to the right from 1-3 cord.
Then work on the right side same method.


 2.11  There are 4 Violet cords at the middle, bring the closest Khaki cord on the left and right to Vioet group,  use this group tying 1 square knot(with 4 fillers). 2 Violet cords will be a working cord to make a Violet knot. 


2.12    Doing the same method of 2.10


 2.13 There are 4 Violet cords at the middle, use them tying  1 square knot(with 2 fillers).


2.14  You will now complete 1 pattern of the flower, continuing the same pattern(2.1-2.13)  to extend it to the preferred length.


2.15  Cut and burn Khaki cords to finish the flower pattern.

3. Bracelet button closure

3.1  Thread your button or bell in to the 2 Violet cords in the middle, then fold the violet cords up.


3.2  Tying 2 more square knots to secure the button, then cut and burn the end.
